Crimes Of Humanity is a Neo-Industrial Metal band from Adelaide, South Australia.
At the present time it consists of 29 year old multi-instrumentalist, writer and producer Jason Stacey, stage named Vampirixxx who has garnered praise from music industry heavy weights such as Chris Isaak and Guy Sebastian.
Crimes Of Humanity is the culmination of experience in the modern music industry, gained by Stacey in multiple semi-pro music projects that have been commercially released under different names and genres in the past several years.
COH is also an evolution of the past live act known as Jason Stacey & The Moonlight Shadows.
After frustrations and struggles of not being able to find likeminded musicians with a similar musical vision or direction in the small town of Adelaide and concerned that time is ticking away, Stacey decided to write, record and produce the first Crimes Of Humanity record himself empowering him fully with musical direction, artistic freedom and flexibility.
COH sets out to create music that's similar to the pioneers of the old Post-Industrial genre; all while channeling personal, relatable and introspective lyrics.
COH takes that sound of Post-Industrial, makes it fresh and new while still being original.
COH is majorly influenced by acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Rammstein, 3Teeth, Skold, Skinny Puppy, Wumpscut and Leaether Strip.
COH also borrows musical influences from New-wave and Gothic music such as Depeche Mode, London After Midnight, Sisters Of Mercy and Bauhaus.
While also borrowing from concept record creating greats such as David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd and live theatrical acts like Alice Cooper.
There's also even influence from Funk and Disco artists such as Prince, Sly Stone and Parliament Funkadelic etc.

Crimes Of Humanity has long-term plans to continue building up the catalog of recorded music and videos. Videos accompanying the soon to come debut album will reflect the story from the albums concept.
Also plans to play live, once performance is fully permitted and unrestricted after the Covid-19 virus pandemic has fleeted is another thing COH is eagerly looking toward.
Otherwise live shows in a dystopian, apocalyptic, Bio-warfare future are highly likely!
